A 25m clear span carried over 72m of length, built up from the standard portal frame design rather than engineered from scratch. Twenty-five metres between columns covers most agricultural and warehousing layouts without an internal row of supports.
Length is the cheapest dimension to buy in a portal frame. Once the span is fixed, extending along the ridge simply repeats an already-designed frame, which is why structures like this one reach 72m while staying inside the standard range.
