The portal frame is the same engineering problem whether it ends up as a packing shed or a distribution warehouse — what changes is the span, the height, and how it's clad and fitted out.

Standard sizes
Nine sizes we already hold designs for.
Because the engineering already exists, a standard size is quicker to quote, quicker to make and cheaper than drawing a structure from scratch. If none of them fits the site, we custom-manufacture to whatever does.

What's included
Everything down to the foundation bolts.
We don't broker structures made elsewhere. The steel is cut, drilled and assembled in our own factory in Spartan, and the same company that made it comes out to erect it.
- Roof sheeting
- Galvanised IBR profile sheeting as standard, on a 10° roof pitch.
- Fasteners
- All fasteners included, down to the foundation bolts — nothing to source separately.
- Design
- Every structure is designed by a civil engineer. An engineer's drawing and certificate is supplied on request.
- Fabrication
- Manufactured in our own Spartan factory in Kempton Park, not subcontracted out.
- Delivery & erection
- We deliver and erect throughout South Africa using our in-house erection team, or supply delivery-only for export and owner-erected jobs.
- Custom sizes
- The nine sizes below are the sizes we hold designs for. We custom-manufacture any size to suit the site.

Where we work
We deliver and erect across South Africa.
The whole country is our market. The factory is in Kempton Park, but the structures go everywhere — a clad 20 × 30m building near Hermanus in the Western Cape, a cover over a container yard in the Cape, houses in Pretoria, a recycling centre on the East Rand.
Since 1999 we have also supplied structures into most African countries, several Indian Ocean islands, and as far as Curaçao and Suriname.
