A spec house with two pieces of architectural steel: a decorative metal framework carrying a garden over the entrance, and a boxed office clad in Corten steel cantilevering out of the side of the building.
Corten is left to weather deliberately — the rust layer that forms is the finish, and it stabilises rather than continuing to eat into the steel. It asks for careful detailing at the junctions, because the run-off will stain anything porous below it.
